This week: What Are The Successful One’s Doing?

I get this question in EVERY introductory meeting:

“What are other FAs doing that are having success with marketing?”

Straight-up…

Website: They have a simple, clear, and human website

  • Who (I/we) am

  • What we do

  • Why we do it

  • How we do it

  • Who we work with

  • Resources (YT, Socials, Newsletter)

  • Contact

YouTube: A professional channel

  • Foundation videos (who, what, why, how…)

  • Example/Situation videos (Here’s how we help xyz…)

  • Conversation videos (You in reality, in meeting recording)

Channel and videos are professional: Header, about, thumbnails, great titles, descriptions, end screens, etc.

LinkedIn

  • High-quality digital content (static images, video clips)

  • Actively sharing their value, examples, and situations they help solve with their clients (3-5x/week)

  • Continuously working their community and network, seeking ideal prospects

Newsletter

  • They send a consistent (same time/day) weekly or bi-weekly newsletter that outlines, in their words, examples of who/how they’ve helped someone recently, things their ideal clients should be thinking about or struggling with, or examples of some of the questions their getting lately: “It’s been such a good ride, should we move some of our portfolio to the sidelines?”

Hard Work & Committed: They’ve accepted that all of this ☝️ is the cost of consistent new business and growth
