Marketing Notes, Week Ending 8/17

Believe it or not, people DO want your help, they DO want to work with you.

This is called “Marketing Notes” and so here’s my biggest takeaway from last week.

For whatever reason people aren’t “doing.”

This has been the most common occurrence in my professional life over the past five years.

You tell me you want all the things, you ask what needs to be done to achieve the things, we map it out, we even itemize it.

It’s so easy.

All it takes is doing + patience. It’s always talked about but never done.

Here’s the reality of why and in the order in which I experience it with prospects & clients:

  1. Lazy. This kills me, it’s frustrating, and there’s nothing I can do about it. You either want it or you don’t.

  2. Lack of patience. You want it too fast and begin chasing easy buttons and magic pills; Paid leads, funnels, gates, referral programs, etc.

  3. Fear of Judgement. People, regardless of age, still give a s%4t what their peers, friends, and family might say or think of their marketing.

I’ll leave you with this as we inch closer and closer toward Labor Day and the time to make a serious push.

Growing your business into something greater than it is today, and achieving many of the things you dream about in your professional life (and even personal life, as it pertains to income), is right in front of you if you’re willing to commit to it and put in the work.

Believe it or not, people DO want your help, they DO want to work with you.

They just don’t know you, or know enough about you and your business to make the commitment yet.

Give them the reason to contact you.

If you could use marketing support, check out my site and services. Currently I have room for a few consult clients and can take on one more content client.

I hope this helps. Have a great week.
