[SPECIAL HOLIDAY EDITION] Marketing Notes, Week Ending 9/1

Inflection point.

We get a couple of these moments throughout the year, this being one of them. You have almost three full months to put in the work that will move the needle. 

For those who’ve been receiving this newsletter for a while, this message may be getting old, but it’s the most common question and biggest challenge.

“What do I need to do that I’m not doing to grow the business?”

Here’s the formula, once again: 

  • Record conversations or moments in which you’re discussing and/or explaining how you help your ideal clients

  • Build a professional YouTube channel

  • Post produce those recordings into digestible shorts, clips, and long-form videos

  • Create high-quality thumbnails 

  • Put these on YouTube 

  • Extract high-impact quotes and summaries from the recordings and mold them into high-quality digital cards (image posts) for social

  • Send a weekly or bi-weekly email in which you succinctly remind people with confidence what you do, for who, and how

  • Continue building your ideal audience on the platforms in which that ideal client spends their time

  • Expand to additional platforms as you get the above locked-in and have the capacity
